Studio Time

Well we've officially started recording for our Christmas album and I've gotta say I'm pumped. I always thought this would be a fun thing to do so I'm excited that we are finally here. We've spent the last couple of days finishing writing the originals we wanted to record as well as finalizing the song list for the album. I think we're going to have a really fun record and can't wait to hear it when it's done.

Today we worked on We Wish You A Merry Christmas. We had a lot of fun with it. The idea behind it was us showing up at your door with a bunch of random percussion instruments and "caroling" the song. By random I mean that I played Jason's Juno Award as a percussion instrument today. It's even got the dents to prove it! Below are some clips I just put up on YouTube from today. Enjoy!

Love love LOVE you guys! Your music and your humor and your spirit always bring a smile to my face. If you show up at my door for Christmas, I promise to bring you some figgy pudding! :) Good luck with the album - I can't wait!

I finally got to see the videos (my computer was on the fritz)!! Thanks for giving us a couple peeks at the new album...although you could make them a little longer if you want...:D
By the way, is something wrong with the DH official site? I can't get it to come up.

Christmas Album? I want to request a cover of "Winter Wonderland" by either Stryper or Steve Taylor; both their versions were nose-bleedingly awesome.

I found your blog. I am thinking of you all. Miss and praying for you!

I'm looking forward to the Christmas Album.
